A very windy day saw little change with the
Pectoral Sandpiper still on Gretchen, the
Red-backed Shrike still at Dennishill and the
Common Rosefinch in Kirbest crop; there were however now two Hen Harriers and a Merlin hunting across the island and a Green Sandpiper on Kirbest scrape. Leftover migrants on the land included a Whinchat, a Whitethroat and 7 Willow Warblers while 65
alba Wagtails were scattered around while 3 Sooty Shearwaters and a single Manx Shearwater passed the north end.
This odd-looking leucistic Reed Bunting has been around Gravity recently
