There were 8 Sooty and 6 Manx Shearwaters offshore on 14th while on land the pick of the birds consisted of a Merlin, 7 Ruff, a Common Sandpiper and two Swifts; it was also quiet on the 15th with a Garden Warbler trapped at Holland House first thing followed by a young female Peregrine, two Greenshank and 8 Herons which flew south in ones and twos through the day.
