Strong wind and incessant rain put an end to most thoughts of birding for the day, but a short wander around the south-west part of the island found that some migrants had come in. A Chaffinch and 4 Collared Doves were new, as appeared to be a few Whitethroats and Tree Pipits. A Wryneck was still present near the observatory.
